The Plot
Noel is a single hard-working mother trying to give her young son Henry the best Christmas experience and distract him from the absence of a father during the winter holiday season.
Preparing for the holidays she gets into a war of words with her next-door neighbor Jeremy who is not into holidays and with his grumpy attitude threatens to ruin the whole Christmas magic for her son.
While she gets to know him better and tries to change his mind about Christmas, Noel starts to fall in love with her not so bad at all neighbor.
“Noel Next Door” is Natalie Hall’s latest Christmas movie and the first movie in the series of “Hallmark Countdown to Christmas 2022”, scheduled to release on Friday, October 21, 2022, on Hallmark Channel.

A Very Charming Christmas Town (2020)
The Plot
A city girl and glamorous-looking travel blogger Aubrey Lang is forced to travel to the small town of Solvang after it was voted the “Most Christmas Town in the USA” to write an article about it.
There, she develops an erroneous impression of both the town itself and the person appointed as her guide.
Soon she falls in love with both, but the article that she is preparing can destroy everything.

It’s just another generic Hallmark/Lifetime/GAC-style Christmas romantic comedy. This time filmed for Lifetime Channel.
Standard plot twists, but not the lowest budget, so the decorations are not the cheapest. Lovely main and supporting actors. If you’re into this style of holiday movie, there is a big chance you’re gonna enjoy “A Very Charming Christmas Town”.
But I want to warn you that at the beginning of the movie, when the main character Aubrey Lang arrives in a small town, I thought about abandoning it … because at that moment I couldn’t figure out if it was such bad acting with theatrical grotesque acting style (even for Christmas rom-com) or both main characters of the movie was such a horrible person. I was confused.
Sometimes Lifetime Christmas movies have such playing styles and I don’t like it. But don’t worry, because miraculously very fast they turn into generic charming holiday rom-com characters and the movie becomes enjoyable.

A Winter Princess (2019)
The Plot
Carly is the princess of a small European state who secretly works as an assistant event planner in a ski resort in the United States. Just before leaving back to Europe, she is offered to organize an anniversary ball, during the organization of which she becomes close to Jesse.
Together they are trying to organize a gala to attract investors and save the resort. But without a star attraction, investors aren’t curious and Snowden Peak is put on the market. The big question is: can Carly allow her royal identity to be exposed to save the resort?

Even though it is Hallmark Original Movie, in overall, this is not a standard Hallmark Christmas movie, but since it takes place in winter, in a snow-covered resort, with a beautifully decorated ball, it could easily be categorized as Royal Christmas Movie. Otherwise it is nicely made royal rom-com.

Love’s Christmas Journey (2011)
The Plot
While still mourning the loss of her husband and daughter, recently widowed Ellie King visits her brother Aaronand his children for Christmas.
When Aaron travels out of town to purchase adjacent land for farming, Ellie agrees to watch his children, but the season’s festivities are threatened when Aaron goes missing.

The same as with “A Winter Princess”, “Love’s Christmas Journey” isn’t a standard Hallmark Christmas Movie. It’s also not a rom-com, but real drama set during the Christmas season. And it is almost 3 hours long.
